General Refund Policy
Words for Tomorrow operates on an annual subscription model at $25.00 USD per year. Annual subscription fees are generally non-refundable. This policy reflects the nature of our service, which provides ongoing digital infrastructure, encryption services, and delivery capabilities that are provisioned upon subscription activation.
Exceptional Circumstances
We may provide prorated refunds at our sole discretion in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Failure: Extended service outages or technical failures that prevent you from accessing core functionality for more than 7 consecutive days
- Billing Errors: Charges made in error due to technical or administrative mistakes on our part
- Duplicate Charges: Accidental duplicate billing for the same subscription period
Important: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the billing date to be considered.
What Is Not Eligible for Refunds
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Change of mind or decision not to use the service
- Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
- Forgetting about the subscription
- Recipients being unable to answer secret questions correctly
- Changes in personal circumstances
- Technical issues on the user's end (internet connectivity, device compatibility, etc.)
- Partial use of the service during the subscription period
Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Your subscription automatically renews annually unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.You will retain full access to the service until that date, and any scheduled letters will continue to be delivered as configured unless you specifically delete them.
No refunds are provided for cancellations, as you continue to receive the full service until the end of your paid period.
Processing of Approved Refunds
If your refund request is approved under exceptional circumstances:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
- Prorated refunds will be calculated from the date of approved refund request
- Your account access will be terminated immediately upon refund processing
- All scheduled letter deliveries will be canceled
Compliance with Consumer Protection Laws
This refund policy complies with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws. If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection rights in your jurisdiction, those mandatory rights will take precedence.
Error Protection: In the event of billing errors on our part, we will provide a full refund or credit for the amount paid from the renewal date until the date of termination, as required by applicable law.
